Stubby Strummer Handplane
This gorgeous, stubby handplane is made from sustainably grown spruce, cedar, Koa, Honduras Mahogany, Indian Rosewood and Brazilian Rosewood offcuts from the production of Santa Cruz Guitar Company guitars.
The hand strap is nylon and adjustable. It is covered with offcuts from O'Neill Wetsuit product development, and the wood is shaped with our unique, ergonomic hand fit. The hardware is solid brass. As with all Ventana handplanes, this one floats so you can easily pass it between friends in the waves.
This handplane comes with a Ventana, double-thick, reclaimed towel bag with a Paracord drawstring from Khordz mugs. An eighth grade seamstress in Soquel, California creates these unique bags for us!
You only need a single handplane on your leading arm for a great ride every time! This is a terrific conversation piece and will slice you across the face of small to mid-sized surf.
