Ventana Circa 78 Lightweight Eco Hoodie
Artisanship
This soft, t-shirt material hoodie features a unique design by Rachel Breeden of Circa 78 Designs.
Circa 78 Designs is a Philadelphia-area design studio created by artist Rachel Breeden. Creating work that is nostalgic, harmonious, and playful.
Raised on a steady TV diet of Children's Television Workshop programming Rachel developed an early affection for bold graphics, bright colors, and super-graphic stripes.
Responsibility
We're very proud of these hoodies. This sweatshirt is made from 60% certified organic cotton and 40% polyester. The silk-screening is done in Santa Cruz, California, and 100% of the profits from the screening goes to fund the local youth outreach and education programs of Barrios Unidos.
Each hoodie comes with a reclaimed wooden hang tag connected to a key ring and an upcycled, paracord leash cord offcut from the production of Ventana Khordz Mugs. Just like our surfboards, every detail matters.
Overall, there's a ton of goodness about this product, but while a California-based company creates the hoodie, the manufacturing is done in India.
Adventure
This hoodie is great for home or work but slipping it on to check the waves or to warm up after a cold-water session is what it's all about.
